Kniphofia ‘Banana Popsicle’ offers torches of tubular flowers on two foot spikes emerging chartreuse and turning to golden yellow. The grass like foliage is mid green and attractive. Popular with hummingbirds. Shorter than ‘Lemon Popsicle’. A member of the Popsicle Series which offers continuous bloom from summer through fall on dwarf plants. Cultivars include ‘Redhot Popsicle’, ‘Mango Popsicle’, ‘Pineapple Popsicle’, ‘Creamsicle’, ‘Papaya Popsicle’, ‘Banana Popsicle’, and ‘Orange Vanilla Popsicle’.
