Kirengeshoma palmata ‘Black Style’

Kirengeshoma palmata 'Black Style' is a Korean waxbells with black stems that hold up the creamy yellow flowers.

Kirengeshoma palmata or Korean waxbells is a tall stately herbaceous plant from the Hydrangea family for the shade garden with wonderful serrated maple-like leaves and elegant creamy yellow bell flowers in summer and fall that flare open. ‘Black Style’ adds black stems to the display. A must for the woodland and shade gardens especially since it offers a tall vertical element that is less available from other shade denizens. Looks great with ferns, cobra lilies and hydrangeas.
