Ixia ‘Venus’
Ixia 'Venus' is an exotic South African iris relative called a wand flower with glowing magenta flowers.
Ixia ‘Venus’ has glowing magenta flowers. Wand flowers are exotic South African iris relatives that produce spikes of beautiful flowers in a range of bold colours. Considerable disagreement exists online as to hardiness but it seems that bulbs should be hardy in free-draining soils in zone 8 and, if mulched, in zone 7. In colder regions grow in a container and bring into a frost free location for winter.
