Ixia ‘Gemini’

Ixia 'Gemini' is an exotic South African iris relative called a wand flower with creamy white flowers and purple centres.

Ixia ‘Gemini’ has creamy white flowers with purple centres. Wand flowers or African corn lilies are exotic South African iris relatives that produce spikes of beautiful flowers in a range of bold colours. Considerable disagreement exists online as to hardiness but it seems that bulbs should be hardy in free-draining soils in zone 8 and, if mulched, in zone 7. In colder regions grow in a container and bring into a frost free location for winter.
