Iris 'Thorn' is a stunning multi-coloured cultivar with pure white standards flushed with yellow and warm purple falls edged in lavender.

‘Thorn’ is a stunning multi-coloured cultivar with pure white standards flushed with yellow and warm purple falls edged in lavender and set off with a bright orange beard. The petals are all perfectly ruffled. Non-fragrant. Blooms in late season to 30 inches tall. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
