Iris TB ‘Sunrise Elegy’

Iris 'Sunrise Elegy' has buttercup yellow standards with flushes of white and white falls edged in yellow.

‘Sunrise Elegy’ will brighten any border with ruffled and lightly serrated buttercup yellow standards with flushes of white and white falls edged in yellow with bright orange beards that lighten to yellow towards the ends. Blooms with large six inch flowers on 39 inch stems in the mid season with 7-8 flowers per stem. Non-fragrant. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
