Iris TB ‘Ragtop Day’

‘Ragtop Day’ offers drama in blue and white with icy white standards touched with a hint of blue and ultramarine and cobalt blue falls delicately edged with light blue and marked with white, yellow, and khaki markings around the tangerine orange beard. Blooms in the mid to late season and will rebloom in late summer or fall. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
