Iris TB ‘Oui Madame’

Iris ‘Oui Madame’ has fragrant, ruffled, lavender-purple flowers that fade to soft lilac with bright orange beards.

‘Oui Madame’ is an early to midseason bloomer with delicate, fragrant, ruffled lavender-purple flowers that lightly fade to soft lilac as they age. The falls have white centres with bright orange beards. The stems are 36 inches tall with green sword-shaped leaves. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
