Iris TB ‘Main Street’

‘Main Street’ makes a striking presence with white standards flushed with yellow and lilac and dramatic purple black falls marked with an orange beard and white whiskers. It also has a lovely sweet fragrance. Blooms in the early to midseason. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
