Iris TB ‘Lady Friend’

Iris 'Lady Friend' offers unique dusky lavender rose tones with a lighter glow on the falls around the orange beards.

‘Lady Friend’ offers unique dusky lavender rose tones with a lighter glow on the falls around the orange beards. A single plant can produce multiple 36 inch high stems in the early season. Non-fragrant. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
