Iris TB ‘Frappe’

Iris ‘Frappe’ is a fragrant, reblooming, bearded iris with two-toned flowers of pink and white with contrasting orange beards.

‘Frappe’ is a fragrant, late spring to early summer re-bloomer with delicate, two-toned, frilly flowers with white standards tinted with pink and darker pink falls with pink veining and tangerine-orange beards. This is a tall bearded iris up to 24-36 inches tall. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
