Iris TB ‘Final Episode’

‘Final Episode’ is a variegata style bearded iris that appears at first to have lemon and gold standards and purple falls but on closer inspection the standards are variegated with white and the falls are overlain with a central patch of reddish burgundy. Blooms in the late season and reblooms in late summer or fall. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
