Iris TB ‘Effective’

Iris 'Effective' has white standards flushed with palest lavender and edged with golden yellow and purple falls edged in tan gold.

‘Effective’ is a stunner with ruffled white standards flushed with palest lavender and edged with golden yellow. The falls are speckled, veined, and washed with purple around the bright orange beards and edged with a broad band of tan gold. Blooms on 35 inch stems in the late mid season. Fragrant. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
