‘Chinook Winds’ offers delicate tones of silver blue in the standards and ivory white and palest yellow in the falls with blue beards. Prolific flowers bloom in the mid season on 42 inch stems with 8-10 buds each. Light spicy fragrance. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
