Iris TB ‘Autumn Circus’

'Autumn Circus' is a wonderful reblooming plicata bearded iris with icy white ruffled flowers overlain with blue-violet markings.

‘Autumn Circus’ is a wonderful reblooming plicata style bearded iris with icy white ruffled flowers overlain with blue-violet markings – speckled and flushed in the standards and beautifully veined in the falls. Blooms in the early season. Each well-branched stem produces 8-10 fragrant flowers. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
