Iris TB ‘Apache Warrior’

Iris ‘Apache Warrior is a two-toned intermediate bearded Iris with yellow standards, yellow-brown falls, and a brown beard.

‘Apache Warrior’ is an intermediate, mid-season bearded iris bloomer that brings richness to the garden with buttery yellow-golden standards and bronzed orange-brown falls repeating the yellow-gold in its edging highlighted with bronze veining throughout and crowned with a glorious golden beard. Stems reach 18-24 inches tall with green, sword-shaped leaves. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
