Iris reticulata ‘White Caucasus’

Iris reticulata 'White Caucasus' is the best white cultivar available with pure white flowers with yellow stripes.

‘White Caucasus’ is the best white cultivar available with pure white flowers with yellow stripes. It is the work of Alan McMurtrie, a Toronto breeder, who is creating colourful and striking new forms of Iris reticulata, a species that is sweetly fragrant with large flowers in relation to the size of the plant. These hardy dwarf Iris prefer full sun in a position that is well-drained. They will go dormant by summer so plant them where they can grow up through perennial ground covers.
