Iris orientalis (syn. ochroleuca) has elegant white and yellow flowers on stems up to five feet high!

Iris orientalis (syn. ochroleuca) is a rare species from Turkey and Greece known as the yellow banded or Turkish iris. It is extremely tall and upright with large, elegant white and yellow flowers on stems up to five feet high! It will bloom in mid to late spring. Though this species often grows in moist conditions in habitat, it seems to do well in average, evenly moist garden soils.
