Iris IB ‘Bold Statement’
Iris 'Bold Statement' has lightly ruffled standards in shades of lavender and white and bright falls in lemon yellow.

‘Bold Statement’ is a study in contrasts with lightly ruffled standards in shades of lavender and white and bright falls in lemon yellow with purple and yellow beards. Fragrant. Blooms early to mid season on 24 inch stems. The intermediate bearded iris (IB) are hybrids that look just like the classic tall bearded iris just at two thirds the height. Use them at the front or mid border, along pathways, and in rockeries in full sun in average to dry situations. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
