Iris IB ‘Blueberry Filly’

Iris 'Blueberry Filly' bluish royal purple flowers liberally streaked with white. Every flower is different!

‘Blueberry Filly’ makes for a striking display with bluish royal purple flowers (more purple than our photo) liberally streaked with white. Every flower is different! Blooms in the mid season on 23 inch stems. Non-fragrant. The intermediate bearded iris (IB) are hybrids that look just like the classic tall bearded iris just at two thirds the height. Use them at the front or mid border, along pathways, and in rockeries in full sun in average to dry situations. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
