Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snow Giant' has white conical panicles that age to pink and beautiful fall foliage colour.
Oakleaf hydrangea is a slow growing shrub of great beauty and one of the few hydrangeas not native to Asia in this case hailing from the southeastern US. Conical white panicles produced in late spring grace the plants all summer and tinge pink as they age into fall. The deep green oak leaf-shaped foliage turns purple-red in fall. The more sun this shrub gets the better its fall colour. It is also drought tolerant.
