Hydrangea paniculata Vanilla Strawberry/Vanille Fraise is a large panicle hydrangea with strong, burgundy stems holding aloft large conical flower heads that start in shades of creamy white and then age to glowing pink and then strawberry red. Plants will reach 6-7 feet tall and 4-5 feet wide. Blooms all summer into fall. Paniculatas are super hardy, bloom on new wood, are fragrant, and make good dried flowers. Cultivar name: ‘Renhy’.
