Hydrangea paniculata Early Evolution is a sweet, extremely dwarf panicle hydrangea that grows to just 28 inches high and 24 inches wide perfect for containers and small spaces. Its masses of clustered flowers completely cover the plant starting in late spring and early summer, much earlier than other cultivars, in shades of creamy white aging to salmon pink and then dark pink through summer and into fall. Paniculatas are super hardy, bloom on new wood, are fragrant, and make good dried flowers. They show some drought tolerance. Cultivar name: ‘Aj14’.
