Hosta ‘Zebra Stripes’

Hosta 'Zebra Stripes' has ghostly white foliage that becomes striped as the leaves age and turn green by summer.

Hosta ‘Zebra Stripes’ is a Plant Delights hybrid forming bold mounds of foliage that emerge pure white in spring. Plants slowly develop green veins on the white blade then a green flush between the veins. The leaves will turn fully green by summer. Morning sun may help plants maintain the white colouration longer versus planting in deeper shade. Lavender flowers in midsummer. ‘Zebra Stripes’ is similar to ‘White Feather’ but observations suggest that it might be stronger, especially in hot and humid summer climates.
