Hosta ‘Skywriter’ is an elegant plantain lily that sports slightly upright, ruffled blue, corrugated leaves with white backsides that are held on bright purple petioles. Lavender flowers on purple scapes emerge in late summer. Growth habit is 15 inches tall with a 30 inch spread. Awesome in the shady garden, understory ground cover and in containers. Attracts pollinators and hummingbirds.
