Hosta ‘Rocket’s Red Glare’
This desirable and unique hosta has prominent red petioles (leaf stems) with red pigment flowing up one third of each leaf’s midrib! Breeders are working to develop red-leaved hostas and ‘Rocket’s Red Glare’ represents the cutting edge of this effort. Arching red scapes carry lavender flowers above the mound of shiny green, wavy margined leaves of good substance.
