Hosta ‘Paradise Island’

This stunning variegated sport of ‘Fire Island’ has brilliant yellow leaves with dark green, jetting margins held on red petioles. The red colouring extends from the petiole base up into the leaves foreshadowing the goal of current breeding to develop a red-leaved hosta. Oh my! The red colouration is also present in the flower stems that hold lavender flowers.
