Hosta ‘Maui Buttercups’ is one of the very best, small yellow plantain lilies. Foliage is bright gold, rounded, deeply cupped, corrugated and thick demonstrating good slug resistance. The 18 inch tall scapes produce near white flowers in midsummer. Compact, low mounding growth habit is 10 inches tall with a 14 inch spread. Awesome as a focal point, understory ground cover and in the container. Attracts hummingbirds and bees.
