Hosta fortunei ‘Patriot’
The foliage of this excellent cultivar has dark green centres and outstanding, crisp white, streaked margins. The leaves have good substance, are slightly wavy, and display good sun tolerance. Lavender flowers appear on 30″ scapes in midsummer. ‘Patriot’ is a sport of ‘Francee’ and was awarded the American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year in 1997. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
