Hippeastrum ‘Misty’ is a lovely cultivar with smaller flowers more reminiscent of species amaryllis. The flowers are beautiful shades of pink and white with green throats and they are lightly fragrant! Grow in a sunny location (usually in a pot) outside in summer. Fertilize well. Allow autumn frosts to hit the foliage then bring inside, chop off the leaves and allow to dry out in the dark. Give light and water when a bud or new foliage appears. Will bloom indoors in January and February. This First Size bulb will have 1-2 flowering stems.
