Blooms from midsummer to frost with an upright growth habit of 6- 8 feet tall and 5-7 feet wide. Slow to emerge in the spring, hardy and easy care. Prefers acidic, well drained soil in full to part sun. Prune for size in spring. Plant in shrub borders, as foundation plants, hedges or screens. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
