Hibiscus Summerific ‘Midnight Marvel’
Perennial Hibiscus have the largest flowers in the mallow family. 'Midnight Marvel' has bold, burgundy foliage topped with huge, scarlet red flowers in summer and fall.
‘Midnight Marvel’ has wine purple, maple-like foliage that is thick and leathery, and glossy, black-red buds which open to 8-9 inch wide, deep scarlet red flowers. It blooms from midsummer into early fall and makes an amazing display. Provide full sun and good moisture during the growing season.Late to emerge in spring so mark its location in the garden.
