Heloniopsis orientalis var.flavida ‘Snow White’
Heloniopsis orientalis var. flavida 'Snow White' is a rare oriental swamp pink with green leaves and white flowers.

Heloniopsis orientalis var. flavida ‘Snow White’ is a rare and unusual perennial from the high mountains of Japan known as Oriental swamp pink. Tidy rosettes of leathery green, lance-shaped leaves support showy white flowers with short stalks of fringed petals for a beautiful contrast. Plants will grow to just 8 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Does well in moist, well-drained soil in part shade to shade, or can be grown in sphagnum with pitcher plants. Easier in cool summer climates like the West Coast. A great companion plant for spring bulbs in the shade border. A good trough plant too.
