Helleborus x hybridus ‘Ruse Black’

Dark purplish-black flowers with rounded petals that contrast sharply with the bright yellow stamens. Stunning! As with all dark flowers plant ‘Ruse Black’ in front of a lighter coloured hellebore (or spring bulbs). This will draw the eye past the dark flowers making them magically visible. You can also a contrasting light background such as a wall or a fence. Deer resistant. Perennial Plant of the Year 2005.
