Helleborus x hybridus Royal Heritage Strain

Hellebores are the darlings of the late winter and early spring garden and are truly indispensable. The Royal Heritage strain includes plants with purple, red, near black, white, green and pink flowers. This strain has been bred to have slightly more upward facing flowers. Try planting a red, purple or pink plant near Corydalis flexuosa ‘China Blue’, daylilies and the pale green leaves of Petasites japonica for a striking spring vignette. Deer resistant. Perennial Plant of the Year 2005.
