The large foliage is thick, leathery, and dark green forming valuable evergreen mounds. Plants will begin to bloom in early February in containers or late February in the ground with flowers continuing for many months well into spring. A cross between H. x ericsmithii and H. x hybridus. The Ice n’ Rose series are the largest of hellebores with huge leaves and flowers on tall stems up to 1.5 feet high. They are excellent for containers or the landscape.
