Helichrysum trilineatum SteppeSuns ‘Hokubetsi’

Helichrysum trilineatum SteppeSuns 'Hokubetsi' is a woody shrub with yellow flowers and silver foliage.

Helichrysum trilineatum SteppeSuns ‘Hokubetsi’ is a dense, rounded, silvery shrub from the mountain ranges of South Africa growing 36 inches high by 48 inches wide. Stems and foliage are fuzzy which provides protection from extreme cold and intense sunlight. During winter, the small leaves may curl up and some may fall off but this does not distract from its silver habit. It produces clusters of tiny yellow flowers in summer. Drought tolerant. Prune to shape in spring. Great in xeriscape gardens. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
