Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’

Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' is an excellent border perennial with four foot tall stems topped with pale yellow daisies in summer.

Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’ was much sought after at the nursery in our old yellow border. It is a tall late bloomer with three inch wide lovely pale yellow flowers with warmer yellow centres. Exactly what you need at the back of the border towards the end of summer. A selection of a naturally occuring hybrid of H. pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus x Helianthus tuberosus.
