Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’

Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' is an excellent border perennial with 4-5 foot tall stems topped with pale yellow daisies in summer.

Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’ was much admired at the nursery in our old yellow border. It is a tall late bloomer with three inch wide lovely pale yellow flowers with warmer yellow centres that flower at the height of summer into fall, exactly what you need at the back of the border towards the end of summer. A selection of a naturally occurring hybrid of H. pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus and Helianthus tuberosus.
