Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Pallida’
Witch hazels are beautiful and useful shrubs for gardens large and small. They have a vase-shaped architecture clad in large, textured, hazel-like leaves that turn gorgeous colours of yellow, orange, red and purple in fall. In December and January they come into bloom flowering along the naked branches with petals like ruffled ribbons. ‘Pallida’ has gorgeous pale yellow to lemon yellow, fragrant flowers that positively glow when the winter light shines through them.
