Gloxinia 'Violacea' is a tender perennial with multi-coloured velvety bell-shaped blossoms in various hues of purples.

Gloxinia ‘Violacea’ as the name implies is a truly regal tropical with multihued, velvety, bell-shaped blossoms of the deepest, richest purple. The throats have a white and red glow with crimson speckles and white stamens. The reverses are lavender purple. This tender perennial is a long bloomer from mid summer to mid fall. Attracts pollinators. Works well in containers and as a houseplant. Enjoys bright indirect light. Allow tubers to dry-out between flowerings.
