Foliage is small and lance-shaped with dark green leaves often splashed with red. Use at the front of a sunny border, in containers or in rock gardens in small groups or large drifts. Very low care. Requires well-drained, average to poor soils. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
