Fuchsia ‘Debron’s Smokey Blues’ is a single pendulous flower with magenta sepals around deep purple interiors and pink stamens and bright blue-green foliage. Long blooming from summer to first frost. Large, dark purple berries extend the season of interest. Growth habit is a nice, upright form 30 inches tall and wide. A number of different Fuchsia are hardy to zone 7 or 8. To increase hardiness bury the base of the shrub 3-4 inches below the surface of the soil as you would a rose. Use at the front of mixed borders, pollinator gardens and containers. Attracts hummingbirds and bees.
