Fragaria x ananassa ‘Ruby Ann’ is a ornamental and edible, ever-bearing strawberry plant that produces runners and very showy, ruby-red flowers. The fruit produced is medium-sized and sweet. Plant size can reach 8 – 12 inches in height by 24 – 36 inches in spread. A low maintenance plant, very easy to grow and keeps on producing. Perfect for hanging baskets and containers. Avoid planting in the same space where solanum/nightshade plants had been planted the previous year. Attracts song birds.
