Filipendula ‘Red Umbrellas’

'Red Umbrellas' is a hybrid Filipendula with maple-like, olive green leaves with heavy red veining and pink umbels.

For those who love foliage, here is a great meadowsweet with highly dissected, maple-like, serrated foliage in shades of olive green flushed with red in the veins. ‘Red Umbrellas’ also has umbles of pink flowers in summer and great hardiness to zone 3! An exciting hybrid of Filipendula multijuga and F. palmatum. Clump-forming topping off at about 30 inches tall. Deer and rabbit resistant.
