Euphorbia griffithii ‘Dixter’
Fire red flowers and bluish green foliage on this deciduous spurge.

Each spring the vigorous erect stems emerge from the dark soil like fiery tongues tinged with purple warming the hearts of winter-chilled gardeners everywhere. Soon after the flame-orange flowers begin to form. At maturity ‘Dixter’ is shorter and more compact than the similar ‘Fireglow’ growing to two to three feet tall with red stems and bluer green foliage that also turns crimson red in autumn. Wonderful in containers. This is a spreading perennial so keep your eyes on it.
