Euphorbia amygdaloides ‘Ruby Glow’

Euphorbia 'Ruby Glow' has warm burgundy foliage, red stems and cool, chartreuse flowers. Evergreen and so useful.

Euphorbia amygdaloides ‘Ruby Glow’ has bright red new growth, darkening to almost black. Leaf reverse and stems are red. Compact and evergreen, this species spreads by rhizomes. Tolerant of part shade but the best leaf colour is produced in full sun. Use at the front of the border, in rock gardens and in containers. Flowering lasts for months from early spring to early summer. Cut back each flowering stalk to the base when the bracts begin to whither. Remember: the stems that have not flowered yet will be your flowers for next spring.
