Eucomis montana

Eucomis montana has fragrant "pineapples" of white flowers rising above rosettes of strap-like leaves. Use Eucomis in pots or the garden.

Eucomis montana is a stately pineapple lily with glowing green foliage and tall spikes of white flowers that look like pineapples. The flowers smell pleasingly like coconut sunscreen. Very easy to grow and perfectly hardy even to zone 6 with a good mulch. Full sun for best foliage colour. Grow in containers or the ground.
