Eucomis ‘Sparkling Burgundy’ is among the best of all the pineapple lilies with dramatic purple foliage. The bold strap-like leaves form a rosette to two feet wide. In late summer, the clump produces a 20″ tall bloom stalk resembling a miniature purple pineapple! Very easy to grow and tolerates a wide range of garden conditions. Full sun for best foliage colour. Grow through a carpet of Geranium ‘Ballerina’ or Sedum ‘Angelina’.
