Eryngium planum ‘Hellas’

A bushy thistle-like plant with thick stems of leathery, blue-green, heart shaped foliage rising from a basal rosette. The blue stems branch into sprays of very blue egg-shaped flower clusters. An intriguing textural and architectural addition to the perennial border. Plant in well-drained soil.
