Eremurus x isabellinus ‘Cleopatra’ (Mature)
Eremurus 'Cleopatra' is a foxtail lily with dramatic spires of peach flowers.
Eremurus x isabellinus ‘Cleopatra’ is a foxtail lily with dramatic five foot spires of orange flowers from burnt-orange buds above bluish strap-like leaves in early summer. Each petal has a narrow red stripe along the midrib, a slender line reminiscent of Cleopatra’s eyeliner. Eremurus create quite a stir when in flower as they did at the 2009 World Rose Festival (pictured along with the yellow E. stenophyllus) where they were the most photographed flower! Dry yet rich soil in a sunny location. Do not allow other perennials to overgrow their foliage. Extra large bulbs.
